Clover Chau

Based on the spatial theme of Sectional Transparency, this model shows the design of a pavilion situated on the south side of Lake Erie and is meant to both house and showcase the painting "Cardplayers in a Sunlight Room". Starting from 3 fundamental planes - Wall, Platform and Bench, the pavilion explores the articulation of the relationships between viewer, painting and pavilion and the spatial experiences these create.
